International coalition planes dropped yesterday leaflets over Raqqa province, these leaflets contained a cartoon about a member of ISIS standing between hour hand and minute hand, and looking at second hand while it is about to kill him.

Leaflets also carried in its back side a letter addressed to ISIS in Arabic colloquial language, which stated: “ISIS: Your influence areas are shrinking and getting smaller every day. We killed a lot of your leaders and countless of fighters. We can attack you at any time and any place, and you can’t stop us. We will not stop and you will lose your war. It is time for your destruction, and zero hour has become very close.”

The group has rushed immediately after dropping leaflets to impose a curfew in the city of Raqqa, to ensure that it will not reach to the hands of civilians, but the residents and out of curiosity broke the ban and went out to discover the content of these leaflets, which seemed strange for them because it has been written in Lebanese dialect, but though, it has raised the curiosity of a wide sector of population, where they rushed quickly to get these leaflets, according to a reporter from “Raqqa is Being Slaughtered Silently” in Raqqa.

Said, “owner of a supermarket” stressed that the group deployed its roadblocks within the city, and Hesba patrols began to look for the leaflets in the neighborhoods, warning people that anyone who will keep these leaflets will be punished on charges of apostasy. He added that the dialect of these leaflets has contributed to get the attention of civilians.

The Pentagon announced earlier that US plane had dropped 60 thousand propaganda leaflets over the city of Raqqa, those leaflets included a cartoon depicting the group as a machine to chop the meat, and it will chop all who wish to join its ranks.

US Department of Defense explained that the dumping of leaflets is part of the psychological war against the group, noting that the cartoon which contained in these leaflets is prepared by a military unit in US Army specialized in psychological warfare.

US military stresses the need to address the media campaigns which ISIS excels in managing it at high efficiency and professionalism, especially propaganda campaigns across social media targeting lure more young people to recruit them in the ranks of the group
