The sacred violence is made by the legends; these legends are about God or gods. The scenes that the terrorist group publishes show the victims as if they were sacred offerings; the fighters are walking beside the victims and holding knives as if they were in a funeral and saying:”we are providing these offerings today and we are ready to give our lives for the sake of our cause”, this is the sacred violence.
Evoking the legends of the end of the world
ISIS has used Dabiq, near the Turkish borders; in all its media publishes even their English magazine is called Dabiq. The terrorist group considers itself as the God’s word and they are sent as an alarm for the end of this life.
In prophet Mohammed’s saying:” This life will not end before the Romans enter Dabiq, and before that there will be peace between them and Muslims until one of the Romans say that the cross has won so Muslims will fight Romans then and the big battle will be in Damascus”.
In the big battle and according to Mohammed’s prophecy, Romans will come under eighty flags under each flag there will be twelve thousand soldiers. The terrorist group considers that the group of the twenty, which has made their meeting in Antakya, along with America and Russia are making the prophecy true.
Hezbollah on the other hand, is different somehow because they use Al Hussein, Mohammad’s grandson who is very sacred for the Shiite. They also use the sayings about Al Sufyani who will come at the end of the time to kill all the Shiite but he will lose in Damascus and the right will win over the wrong and after that Al Mahdy will come as a last alarm of the end of this life. But his saying -peace be upon him-:” it is one of the signs” means that Al Sufyani is an alarm of the occurrence of Al Mahdy.
Shiite believe that Al Sufyani will come with a man from Yemen and another man from Khurasan and before that revolutions will happened and all that will be the most important alarm of the occurring Al Mahdy who will be the savior of the humanity.
The crimes done by them are not shown in a regular way because they fear that the situation in Lebanon will get worst if they show them in a regular way and we cannot forget their massacres in Al Qser in Homs and there Shiite poets.
