Exclusive – Abdalaziz Alhamza “Raqqa is being slaughtered silently”

The gathering of “Clans of Raqqa and its countryside” issued on Tuesday, a statement after the meeting which held upon the backdrop the attack of members of the “Protection Units of Kurdish People” /YPG/ on Monday, against a number of young people in “Almuhra” village within the attempt to arrest them. YPG forces also attacked “Alantar” checkpoint which affiliated to the Brigade of Raqqa Rebels, which led to the killing of Mustafa Al-Naif son of Habbal, one of the members stationed at the checkpoint, and the injury of a number of Brigade fighters.
The statement included basic points, it demanded to prevent anybody of YPG forces from entering into the Arab areas where the fighters of “Clans Gathering” are stationed. It demanded also to deliver the group that carried assault against the members of checkpoint and Almuhra village and bring them to an independent court within 48 hours, as well as demanding an international inquiry around the killings of civilians in Arab areas, and the appeal to the United Nations and human rights organizations to take responsibility towards what is happening in Tell Abiad.

The statement considered that the displacement of civilians on the pretext of ISIS, is a systematically work to empty Arab villages in Tell Abiad and Suluk, pointing out that the city of Tell Abiad will not bow to the rule of non-Syrian Kurds most of them are from Iran, Iraq or Turkey.

Finally,Clans gathering demanded the YPG to handed over the city of Tell Abiad to be under the management of its sons, stressing that their forces would not stand idly toward the violations committed against the people of Arab villages.
