ISIS prevents the circulation of the printed Syrian currency recently

Abdalaziz Alhamza – Exclusive – Raqqa is being slaughtered silently

12088534_902960766425941_6716540442140261768_nISIS issued a decision that prevents the circulation of the Syrian currency that was printed by the Syrian regime recently, in the middle of the last month , the matter that pushed the people to avoid the dealing with this currency 20 days before the decision took effect , where the bakeries owners and the gas stations owners and the exchanging shops stopped dealing with it and started to find a way to get rid of it

The Estimation of those coins in Raqqa markets is hundreds of millions of pounds, came to the markets and to the hands of the people in so many ways, like the salaries that still paid to the employees through the regime and through ISIS themselves through his dealing with the regime, not to mention the markets and the trade movement between areas under ISIS control and the areas under the regime control, and also from the selling of the agricultural crops, electricity and other.

And through this step ISIS are hoping that they will pressure economically on the regime and weaken him, but the fact of the matter it about pressuring the regime for something else, where there are a business operation between them both, like to facilitate the wheat and cotton movement towards the areas of under the regime control and also the movements of gas, which ISIS are earning a millions of Syrian pounds for that

Mohammad Alahmad an economical expert says: the regime is printing a currency without any golden coverage or from the other currency and international monetary, therefor it doesn’t have any stock or value, and It is likely not to be traded abroad, while ISIS are trying to pressure the regime through preventing the circulation of that currency in the business dealings that happening between the areas of both, and thus to maintain that currency in the areas of the regime

ISIS is trying recently to enter the gold in their dealing to ensure the necessary quantities of gold that needed to the instrument of dinar, and they don’t any other new currency that not covered already, that might complicate matters in the case they really decided to impose the dinar, that which is not going to see the light likely, and limited its appearance on the issues of ISIS.

There is a big challenge these days at the areas of ISIS in the marketing of the agricultural crops and especially cotton, that was mainly sold to the regime, and ISIS are planning to take control of it through traders work for them, in order to stop the farmer from selling his crop by his own, where the volume estimation of cotton cultivation at ISIS areas is billions of Syrian pounds

Therefore, ISIS continuing in pressuring the civilians in their areas, and issuing more decisions, while the dollar remains the master of the situation, the fact that ISIS adopted in all their dealings, payroll taxes and penalties.
