It is not missing to the minds of the people of Raqqa what it was before more than two years, in this month of 2013. The streets of Raqqa was teeming with demonstrations demanding to overthrow the regime, so the city turned into daily a revolutionary wedding indifferent to the bomb of Assad aircraft, when everybody came out for solidarity with the rest of the provinces, and adorn the city with the revolution flag and logos.
Daily demonstrations have continued since the start of liberalization of Raqqa city of the Assad regime till it falling under the control of the ISIS, was the city of Raqqa in this period, an example for pure revolution that came out for it all shades of the Syrian people and turned into a Qibla for everyone who wants to see Syria after Assad in its miniature example.
With the start of the truce for nearly a month, Syrian Revolution returned to its peaceful form, and the throats re-chants, “The people want to overthrow the regime,” which exceeded the number of demonstrating points in Syria 100 points, but the Raqqa city has been absent from the demonstrations demanding the overthrow of Assad, due to that ISIS prevent any revolutionary manifestation in the city.

He continues: “it hurts myself today when I see all the cities out to claim their rights, while we sit at home cannot do anything, I want to go out into the squares that we used to gather and revert cheering, but I am sure it will be the last demonstration for me, because ISIS prevent demonstrations in all its forms”
In spite of the absence of the inner voice of Raqqa City, but the voices of her sons-in-exile re-cheered again, to prove that the sons of Raqqa are staying on the Covenant, as described Saad, who lives in the city of Aleppo in the part under the control of the FSA, says: Each demonstration out here I must go to it, I’m here represent the city of Raqqa and shout on behalf of those who deprived them ISIS of their most basic rights, it might be the voice of Raqqa is absent in the city, but it is present everywhere.
Since the control of ISIS over the city, they removed all the revolutionary slogans that calling for the overthrow of Assad, and prevented any demonstration against the regime, and deprived people of the city to participate revolution that contributed to the expulsion of Assad’s forces from the city, to come back to minds the word of Bashar al-Assad when the Raqqa city came out of his control and occupied by ISIS which said the “Raqqa in safe hands” for everyone to understand the meaning of that sentence and the extent of Assad’s confidence with ISIS
In the same context “YPG” the protection units that impose its control over the northern part of the province of Raqqa prevent any demonstrations in Tel Abyad City, whether these demonstrations are demanding for freedom and overthrow the regime or the return of the displaced, to be Raqqa fully out of the civil movement, whether the region is under the control of “ISIS” or militias of protection units.
