ISIS group seeks to restrict women traveling and handcuff their moving by many restrictions, where all women have prevented from traveling even those have exceeded fifty years old, without a medical report certified by the Medical Committee which has formed by the group, this committee gives women the permission to travel outside ISIS controlled areas.

Correspondent of “Raqqa is being slaughtered silently” reported that, under the new decision: the health condition must be from the cases which cannot be treated inside the hospitals which located within the group’s areas, but when this committee cannot assess the condition, it is transforming to Mosul hospitals in Iraq for evaluation, which increases the suffering of these women.

He added that the group aims by this procedure to prevent employees women from going to receive their salaries from the areas of Assad’s regime, where the group has considered all teachers in Raqqa as disbelievers during the last period, so they were forced to undergo a religious course in order to announce their innocence of disbelief which alleged by the group.

In the same context, the group has prevented women from traveling without escorting a male relative, even at the level of moving within the areas of the governorate from villages to the city and vice versa, and any woman travels without such man exposed to arrest often.

As girls were prevented from going to universities by an earlier decision, which prevented women under 45 years old from traveling, the group strengthened this prohibition by preventing young people from going out of the territory of the “Caliphate” to the territory of disbelievers in order to further their education, where they have considered that education is available inside Raqqa or in Mosul University, so the Education Office of the group expressed that it is ready to help students to be acceptable in Iraqi universities.

It is noteworthy that the city of Raqqa, “the capital of caliphate” has become considered a big prison for women, and women became in a smaller prison which is her house, where Khansa battalion patrols are chasing women who walking around inside the city.
