Warplanes launched five raids yesterday midnight on several sites in the city of Raqqa.
The raids targeted the following sites:
The Government building at the center of the city
Al-Wadi Street southern the city.
The Blood Bank and the previous TV Center.
Governor’s Palace.
Perimeter of the 17th Division.
The raids caused a huge destruction to the targeted buildings, while there have been no civilian casualties.
It is noteworthy that most of these targeted buildings have been out of service for some time, neither ISIS nor any other parties have used these buildings for a while.
Warplanes and drones continued to fly for more than an hour over the city.
The raids were accompanied by an electric power outage to the entire city and suffocating smell caused by explosive material had spread. A complete disappearance of ISIS fighters in streets was observed while warning siren was launched.
Separately, ISIS targeted an empty area in Ein Issa northern the province of Raqqa by a rocket without causing any human or material loss. It is noteworthy that the city is controlled by people’s protection units (YPG), and it has been witnessing many battles between ISIS and YPG for several months.
